The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has finally sent bills to MTN, Glo, Airtel and Etisalat to release affordable subscription packages for android users.
According to sources, service providers will have to restrict subscription functionality to Android devices only.
The cost of the subscriptions could be around N1000 per GB. Meaning they’ll prolly charge N1000 for 1GB or N2000 for 2GB.
It still can’t be like Blackberry Internet Subscription (BIS) to me. I’m sure most users won’t get the best out of it due to the high data consumption on Android.
